Celtics fan predicts NBA Finals with bold tattoo

Boston Celtics are in NBA Finals for the first time since 2010, But one fan had enough faith in his hometown team to make a bold — and lasting — prediction long before the playoffs began.

Jack Bienvenue, 18, of Wellfleet, Massachusetts, did the unthinkable when he met the Celtics 2022 world champion Tattoo on his arm.

Bold part? Found him in March.

“It was March 21, exactly that day. We were on a 10-game winning streak, I think. We were leading a little bit,” Bienvenue said via ESPN.

“It looked like we were finally getting the pieces together. We were finally putting the puzzle together, and I thought it looked like [a title] It was bound to happen. That this team will make a historic race to the finals, which they have, and just get the job done. We got four more to win.”

“I would say the Celtics in seven. It will be no less than six games,” Bienvenue said. “It’s going to be a very fun series to watch, very competitive. Steph Curry wants to keep his legacy, And Jason Tatum wants to make his debut. It will definitely be a fight.”
