Bundesliga: Borussia Dortmund fight for victory, cut Bayern Munich lead

Borussia Dortmund bounced back from a two-goal draw, beat Eintracht Frankfurt 3–2 after a weak start and returned some element of excitement to the Bundesliga title race. Mahmoud Dahoud’s 89th-minute winners on Saturday took Dortmund six points behind Bayern Munich after Jude Bellingham leveled in 86th.

Erling Haaland was fired in all three goals for Dortmund, who could easily have scored four in Frankfurt.

“It’s very annoying,” said Dortmund defender Mats Hummels.

“It’s a big issue for us, that we aim for nothing, that we always accept in circumstances that no goal should be given.

“It was the same with both goals today. It happened two or three times in Berlin (3-2 loss to Hertha before the winter break), and it was the case against Bayern, twice through me unfortunately. And so much There are times, and then you don’t always win. That stability is something we need to make our top priority if we want a chance for anything.” Colombian forward Rafael Borey hit Filip Caustic’s free in 15th Started the scoring with a simple finish for the kick, then doubled the lead in the 24th after a more loose defense.

Ivan Nadika held the position for Frankfurt before giving Frankfurt’s Jesper Lindström another big chance in 34th. But the midfielder hit a wide shot.

The efforts of Haaland and Julian Brandt showed some hope for visitors around the hour. Thoran Hazard pulled a goal back in the 71st after being sent off by Holland.

The Norwegian rejoined before Thomas Meunier set up Jude Bellingham for the equalizer, and before Dahoud had curled in a late winner.
