Brittney Griner absent from USA camp, but keeping in touch

DUBAI: Brittany Griner texted her good friend Diana Taurasi on Tuesday and asked how USA Basketball training camp was going.
Griner was back in Arizona, choosing to leave the camp in Minnesota so he could be with his partner and recover from his time in a Russian prison.
She returned to the US in December after a dramatic prisoner exchange.
Taurasi said, “She wants to be a part of it like anybody else.” “So, she’ll get there eventually. She’ll find her feet.
