Britney Spears reveals why she’s not ready to make music: ‘I’m afraid of people and business’

Britney Spears has indicated that she is not ready to make music after 13 years under a custodianship that took control of her personal and professional affairs and left her intimidated by the entertainment business.

Spears, 40, who was released last month by court in 2008 from an arrangement her father sought, said in a lengthy Instagram post on Monday that she “wanted to push herself a little bit more and do things like Which scares me but not too much” in 2022.

“I think it’s the weirdest why I don’t even do music anymore… People have no idea what they’ve done to me personally and after everything I’ve done, I’m in people and business.” I’m scared!!,” wrote Britney Spears, who last performed publicly in October 2018.

“Not doing my music anymore is my way of saying ‘fu**y**’ when it actually benefits my family by ignoring my actual work. It’s like I subconsciously let them win is,” the “Toxic” singer said.

Britney Spears, who is engaged to boyfriend Sam Asghari, complained to the judge in her guardianship case earlier this year that she controlled her father, Jamie Spears, who was in charge of her career.

Jamie Spears was fired from her post of mentor in September. He has said that his sole goal was to help his daughter rehabilitate her career after her mental health deteriorated in 2007 and that she has always acted in her best interest.
