Police say they did what they were told when a woman called and requested to be arrested Brandonman., this week.
The woman was at a motel on 18th Street North when police said she called them on Wednesday.
According to police, the woman said she had previously seen police in the area for an unrelated matter, and did not feel safe.
Police said he then asked to be arrested for breaking his curfew.
“Police forced and arrested the intoxicated woman for failing to comply with the release order,” investigators said in a media release.
A 28-year-old woman was being held at Brandon Police Headquarters and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
