Justice Gadkari said that the court “does not appreciate the practice adopted by the counsel/advocates concerned. However, on the “enormous request” by the advocates of the applicant(s) and in the interest of justice, the bench posted further hearing on October 6. Of.

The court said it would hear the petitions on the next date “subject to the condition that the applicants pay Rs 5,000 for each anticipatory bail application to the ‘Maharashtra Police Welfare Fund’.”

The judge said that the petitioners have to deposit the amount in the CPWF bank account on or before September 21.

The court also clarified that the period for depositing the amount shall not be extended on ‘any count’, and if the applicants fail to deposit the same, the petitions “will be dismissed without reference to the High Court”.
