Body found after small building fire in Kitchener: Police | globalnews.ca

A body was found after a fire was extinguished in Kitchener early Friday, according to Waterloo Regional Police.

Police say emergency service personnel were called to a fire at a small building near Victoria Street North and Locust Street at around 1:40am.

A police release said that members of Kitchener Fire Department Put out the fire

According to the police, the premises were searched after the body was found.

Police say they are continuing to investigate, along with the Chief Coroner’s Office and the Fire Marshal’s Office.
