Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday introduced in the Lok Sabha the Central Universities (Amendment) Bill, which seeks to convert the National Rail and Transportation University into Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, an autonomous central university. The university is named after the government’s flagship PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan for multi-modal connectivity. TNS
40 of 70 AI projects completed: MoD
The Ministry of Defence on Monday told Parliament that an artificial intelligence (AI) roadmap had been finalised for each defence public sector undertaking and has specific 70 defence products. Of these, 40 projects have been completed. The MoD has earmarked Rs 100 crore per year for AI projects for the armed forces.
