The makers of Manoj Bajpayee’s next film titled Bhaiyya Ji released a teaser of the movie on Sunday. The revenge drama stars Manoj as the protagonist who is on a dangerous mission. The upcoming film also stars Suvinder Vicky, Jatin Goswami, Vipin Sharma and Zoya Hussain among others. Helmed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the film will be released in theatres on May 24.
The promo starts with a crime scene, chaos, and people carrying dead bodies. A fire breaks out in the morgue where Manoj’s loved one seems to be. This prompts Manoj’s character, Bhaiya ji, to vow revenge and go after the culprits. The teaser is full of action, showing Manoj going all out to unleash his inner fury.
Fans on the internet expressed excitement about the movie. One of the users wrote, “my favourite actor Manoj sirrr.” Another commented, “Bahut dino bad kisi movie ko lekar excitement hai.”
Manoj Bajpayee had previously opened up about how he ‘unwinds’ after playing heavy characters in films. The actor said, “Sometimes, you essay the role of a criminal, sometimes a cop, sometimes someone who works with Intelligence, sometimes a rich man from Gulmohar. It becomes a process. You finish one thing and you are onto the next. The process of the next one takes care of it. The other character is equally demanding, sometimes the director is also as demanding.”
Manoj was last seen in the ZEE5 film Silence: The Night Owl Bar Shootout 2.
