BEIRUT: Scores of protesters clashed with riot police in Beirut on Thursday as they tried to storm the main offices of Lebanon’s judiciary after authorities tried to block an investigation into the massive port explosion that wreaked havoc in the capital city in 2020 .
Several protesters were injured as police dispersed crowds outside Beirut’s Palace of Justice and beat people with batons.
