Bangladesh opposition mounts huge protest

Dhaka: Thousands of supporters of Bangladesh’s main opposition party descended on Dhaka on Saturday to protest against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government and demanded new elections.
Slogans were raised where the rally was being held at Golbagh Sports Ground, “Sheikh Hasina is a vote thief.”
Tension rose in the capital on Tuesday after security forces stormed the headquarters of the opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), killing at least one person and injuring hundreds.
