Asifa Bhutto injured in drone camera attack at PPP march in Khanewala

PPP leader Asifa Bhutto-Zardari was injured after being hit by a drone camera during the party’s anti-government march in Punjab’s Khanewal on Friday, video footage aired on television showed.

The video showed Asifa, who was standing on top of a container with her brother and PPP chief Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, leaning back as she tried in vain to get out of the way of the drone.

Later, Asifa’s sister Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari shared a picture of her with a bandage on her forehead.

After the incident, PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz said in a tweet that she hoped Asifa was not hurt and prayed for the safety of all those involved in the march.
