Joshi, who represents Prayagraj in the Lok Sabha, expressed surprise, claiming that Jitendra Singh may have hidden facts from the BJP leadership, and said she would demand the cancellation of his membership.
“I believe he (Jitendra Singh Bablu) kept the BJP leadership in the dark and joined the party as the doors of BJP are open to all at all times,” he said. I am sure that UP BJP President (Swatantra Dev Singh) was not aware of the criminal background of Bablu and was involved in the attack on my house. Joshi, who was then in the Congress, claimed, “When my house in Lucknow was torched in July 2009, he (Bablu) was at the fore and was found guilty during the investigation.” Him.
Rita Bahuguna Joshi’s Lucknow residence was torched by masked men on July 15, 2009, when she allegedly used derogatory words against the then Chief Minister and BSP chief Mayawati.
