Houston authorities said Friday that police have arrested two people in connection with the murder of famed Migos rapper Takeoff.
Houston Police Chief Troy Finer said at a news conference that 33-year-old Patrick Clark was arrested Thursday and charged with murder. The chief said Cameron Joshua was arrested on November 22 on a weapons possession charge.
Kirshnik Khari Ball, professionally known as Takeoff killed on 1 November Outside the Downtown Houston Bowling Alley. He was 28 years old.
Authorities said Takeoff and another Migos member, Quavo, 31, were at a private party at 810 Billiards & Bowling. Police said shots rang out near the entrance after the private party ended.

The group had four Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, although the takeoff was not until their multiweek No. 1 hit “Bad and Boujee”, which featured Lil Uzi Vert. Migos released a trilogy of albums titled “Culture,” “Culture II” and “Culture III,” with the first two albums reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Takeoff also released a solo album, “The Last Rocket”, in 2018.

A month before his death, Takeoff danced with Quavo at a listening party for his new album, “Only Built for Infinity Links”. The new album was supposed to be the next step in Takeoff’s already illustrious career.
