LAWRENCE, KS (KCTV) — A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the accidental shooting and killing of a 2-year-old boy.
Bishop Mendoza, 21, was arrested on suspicion of involuntary manslaughter, child endangerment, and possession of a stolen gun.
The shooting took place on the morning of Friday 17th September at 1500 block of Wedgwood Drive.
Legend King, 2, was killed in the shooting.
