Cairo: The Arab League on Monday held the eighth meeting of the region’s Hunger Eradication, Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture Subcommittee, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Under Sudan’s presidency, it focused on implementing “United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger”, which aims to eliminate food insecurity and malnutrition in the region.
Nada El Azzi, director of sustainable development and international cooperation at the Arab League, said food security is a top priority for the United Arab Action.
