Users who have paid for Prime subscription will be able to watch movies, documentaries, Technique Shows and other entertainment content on a real-time basis while chatting with your friends from wherever they are.
Still confused how to proceed? Well. It’s as simple as showing your lessons in Google Meet. To launch Watch Party, all you need is an Amazon Prime subscription, however, you’ll be limited to streaming titles from Amazon’s Prime Video collection. Luckily, with over 15,000 movies and TV series to choose from, there should be enough for everyone.
Steps to Start a Watch Party
Prime Video Watch Parties has synced streaming and conversations, so you can enjoy and chat with other participants in real-time. However, to experience it, you have to share a link. The built-in chat tool accepts both text and emoticons.
step 1: Visit the Amazon Prime Video website on your desktop computer. Call and request that your group’s websites be opened as well.
step 2: Enter the title of the TV show or movie you want to enjoy with your friends.
step 3: On the movie details page, look for the Watch Party setting and click on it. At the same time, there will be an option for a single episode of the series.
step 4: Since you can talk while watching the program, you will be prompted to choose a chat username in advance.
Step 5: Once the name is set, click on the ‘Create Watch Party’ button.
Step 6: You will now be able to broadcast the Watch Link to up to 100 other people. However, all users must have a Prime membership.
Step 7: Now they’ll be able to join by tapping on the URL you provided, and once they’re all set up, you can start your watch party.
If you want to join the watch party, use a PC web browser to click on the URL you received. Once taken to the website, enter your selected username under “Chat Us” and then press “Join Watch Party” to participate.
