Amazon proposes settlement of EU antitrust charges on seller data

Brussels-heroine Inc. has proposed concessions to settle two antitrust cases against it in the European Union, a new sign of a change in strategy from big tech companies after the bloc passed tough new digital-competition laws.

The US-based online retailer pledged not to use non-public data about sellers on its marketplace, after The European Union accuses Amazon Violating competition law by using non-public information to compete with merchants.
