this year, The Higher Secondary (HS) or Class 12 board exams were conducted from March 15 and concluded on April 12, 2022, and practical exams were conducted from February 21 to March 10, 2022. The theory board exams were conducted in two sessions – the first session was conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and the second session started from 1:30 pm and was conducted till 4:30 pm.
Last year, the Assam Class 12 exam was canceled due to the increase in the number of COVID cases across the state. So, A prepared formula was introduced by an expert committee and the evaluation was done on the basis of marks obtained by the students in internal examinations and previous examinations. The total percentage entered was 98.93 percent.
in 2020A total of 78.28 percent students cleared the arts stream, 88.18 percent students commerce, 91.55 percent students vocational stream and 88.06 percent students successfully cleared the science stream exam. A total of 16,928 students secured first division while 14,747 students passed with second division and 3,172 students passed with third division. in 2019Commerce stream students had the best pass percentage of 87.59 in 2019, followed by Science at 86.59, and Arts with the lowest pass percentage of 75.14.
