Lahore: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab has summoned Ahmed Mujtaba, brother of Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi, for his alleged involvement in a corruption scam involving government land, sources told Geo News.

The officials said on condition of anonymity that Mujtaba is accused of occupying government land in Depalpur.

Sources said Mujtaba has been accused of “illegally leasing out government land earmarked for a market and confiscation of government land through the chairman market committee”, causing a loss of Rs 20 crore to the national exchequer. Is.

According to anti-corruption officials, shops were built in Depalpur by occupying government land.

He said that ACE Punjab has directed Mujtaba to appear before the Sahiwal office of the Anti-Corruption Watchdog on July 6 for further investigation.
