BJP State chief CR Patil narrowly escaped when a part of the stage collapsed during an event in Morbi on Saturday.
The incident took place at an event organized by the Prajapati community to mark the inauguration of an education complex.
BJP’s Morbi district unit president Rarelji Detharia told Indian Express, “While the President was climbing down the stage, the last leg of the structure gave way and he collapsed. But it was a very minor accident and no one was hurt in the incident.”
Patil was attending several programs in Surat, Ahmedabad, Morbi and Dwarka.
