A computer glitch has temporarily halted the application process for St. Louis’ cash assistance program

Requirements To apply for a $500 check, you must be a city resident, earn 80 percent or less of the area’s median income, and have suffered a loss of income due to COVID-19. Eligible residents must have lived in St. Louis for at least one year. Only one person per family is eligible to receive the payment.
