Poland is preparing tonight a major offensive by migrants along its border with Belarus after receiving intelligence about a massive build-up of enemy troops.
Polish border force guards claim their Belarusian counterparts are issuing thousands of stranded migrants with instructions, equipment and weapons to make their way into the European Union.
The attack is believed to have been planned for the border at Kuznica, one of the two main crossing points from Poland to Belarus.
A spokesman for the Polish Border Force told MailOnline: ‘After a ‘quiet’ night around the camp in Kuznica, we are currently seeing more groups of armed officers from the Belarusian services are based at that location.
“We are seeing commotion among migrants. There is also a TV broadcast van.
He said: ‘Some of the tents are starting to disappear. Migrants get directions, equipment and gas from Belarusian services.
‘You can see that the Belarus side is getting ready for a big attempt to cross the border today.
‘Our army is ready for action.’
It is said by the Polish Border Force that Belarusian troops made two large-scale migrant incursions into Poland last night, in which around 77 people were detained and deported.
An estimated 150 others captured and are now seeking sanctuary in the EU state.

Security Services Minister Stanislav Zarin said that ‘more people are showing up from the Belarus side on the border with Poland, adding to the situation.’
He posted a picture of a man in uniform on Twitter, saying: ‘This man opened fire in the air, then tried to damage the Polish border barrier.’
Meanwhile, Poland’s Ministry of National Defense posted a video showing hundreds of migrants behind barbed wire fences in the Belarusian side of the border, saying: ‘Additional officers from the Belarusian services have arrived in the Kuznica area. There is a noticeable movement among the migrants.
About 50 migrants are said to have breached the Polish-Belarusian border near the village of Starzina on Saturday.
There are about 15,000 troops in Poland, border guards and police are currently on the border.
The NGO Grupa Granica said in a statement that it had received information about Belarus’ attempts to coerce Belarus to use violence against Polish officials.
“Due to the risk of escalation of violence, we would like to remind all parties that migrants are not aggressors but hostages to the Lukashenko regime,” it read.
Belarusian State Border Guard Committee spokesman Anton Bychkovsky said the allegations were propaganda. ‘It doesn’t correspond to reality,’ he said

The Polish prime minister today called on NATO to take “concrete steps” to resolve the migrant crisis at the Belarus border, adding that Poland, Lithuania and Latvia could ask for consultations under Article 4 of the Treaty of Alliance.
Under Article 4, any ally may request consultation whenever it feels that its territorial integrity, political independence or security is threatened.
“Merely expressing our concern publicly is not enough for us – now we need concrete steps and the commitment of the entire coalition,” said Mateusz Morawiecki from Polish state-run news agency PAP.
Moraviki’s statements came the morning after the Belarusian Authorities ordered soldiers to help asylum seekers break through border fences last night at two remote locations near the cities of Dubicz Cerkiwne and Kolonia Klulowicz, far from the main focus of Poland’s security.

A spokesman for the Border Force told MailOnline: ‘Last night there were two attempts to forcefully cross the border with Belarus, at Dubie Serkivne and Kolonia Klukowicz.
‘Yesterday we recorded 223 attempts to cross the border illegally from Belarus.
‘Deportation orders from the Republic of Poland were issued against 77 people.’
Spokesmen could not explain what happened to the 146 others who entered Poland illegally.
Yesterday, patrols of Polish troops could be seen running up and down the border in search of fugitive migrants.
A patrol armed with machine guns, telescopic rifles, night-vision goggles and radios stopped two groups of tourists at a famous nature approach near the border in the Bialowieza Forest.
The day-trippers were ordered to show their ID papers and record their movements by a panicked Polish army officer, who drew up a detailed map of the forest – which stretches to the border with Belarus.
The scene overlooks forest and marshland where moose graze and is one of the last natural habitats of European bison.
Yesterday Warsaw revealed how Belarus was arming migrants with tear gas and demolishing border posts to push asylum seekers to the Polish border.
British Army engineers are drafted in to help Poland shore up its border, while Russian paratroopers conduct a military exercise close to the border in a show of support for Belarus.
