Jim Burrows, Joe’s father and a former college football coordinator and position coach, tweeted a childhood photo of his son wearing prominent Cap.
“Joe watching the Iowa Barnstormers game with his mom,” wrote Jim on twitter, “He won’t wear a helmet on Sunday. Which day.”
Last year, Jim posted what appeared to be the same photo, but reassured fans that Burroughs was an unrepentant Bengals supporter.
Joe wrote in the caption, “Joe loved those bright red Chiefs helmets. Not anymore. Geox Bengals.”
