Perth county provincial police say eight people were injured in a two-vehicle collision molesworth, Onts. in the weekends.

According to police, a minivan carrying eight people collided with a pickup truck on Perth Line 86 at around 5pm on Friday.

They say the driver of the pickup truck was taken to a London hospital for treatment of potentially life-threatening injuries.

Police say everyone in the minivan was taken to an area hospital for treatment along with the driver and then a passenger was taken to a London hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Perth Line 86 was closed for a few hours between Perth Road 178 and the Molesworth Line as police investigated the collision.

Molesworth, which is about an hour’s drive north-west of Kitchener, is situated approximately 10 km down the Listowel to Perth line 86.

Police say they are continuing to investigate the collision and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call 1-888-310-1122.
