He has been training all over the UK by running about 40 kms a day.

He said: ‘I do these runs myself. I just run with a backpack. And I’m running from hotel to hotel.

‘One day I ran 56 km. I was running 40 km uphill and the last 16 km was down the hill. I ran out of water twice. It was quite difficult.

‘I’m gradually increasing the distance every week. Currently I am running about 50 kms a day.

‘I have to run 300 km in a week, about 1,350 km in a month. I am running on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

‘And I’m reaching 75km a day. I will finish it in the first two weeks of July.

Tomasz started long distance running in 2018 to improve his mental health.

He said: ‘And then I got divorced. I lost my business and I was in a bad state of mind for some time.

‘And I just needed to do something with myself and I decided to start training for bigger challenges.’

His first challenge in 2019 was to walk 5 million steps in 100 days. He increased his strides and was exercising 12-14 hours a day by the end of the challenge.

He then attempted to run 11,000 km from Hanoi, Vietnam to Bali, Indonesia.

However, he was forced to curtail his plans when the lockdown hit.

He said, ‘I fled from Indonesia to Sumatra, where I had to keep running, but I could not run.’
