A married couple and their son were sentenced to life in prison without parole on Tuesday after pleading guilty to first-degree premeditated murder for shooting and killing a security guard who asked the woman’s daughter to wear a mask while shopping .

Genesee Circuit Court Judge Brian Pickel sentenced Larry Teague, wife Sharmell Teague and Sharmell Teague’s son, Ramonia Bishop, in the death of Calvin Munnerly on May 1, 2020.

All three were convicted of first-degree premeditated murder, a crime that carries a sentence of life in prison without parole, after a trial that lasted several weeks. flint Journal reported.

Genesee County Prosecutor David Layton said Munnerlin, 43, was shot at the store north of the city of Flint shortly after telling Sharmel Teague’s daughter that she lacked a mask.

Investigators said two men later came to the store and shot and killed the security guard.

Bishop’s sister, Brea Bishop, was charged with tampering with evidence, lying to police, and being an accessory to a felony. He was sentenced in November to time served and probation.
