2 teens arrested after robbing St. Louis Blues prospect at gunpoint at Gateway Arch grounds

scheduled tribe. LOUIS (KMOV.com) — Two teenagers have been arrested after they were suspected of robbing the St. Louis Blues at gunpoint in the grounds of Gateway Arch.

According to the police, the suspect went up to a man and a woman, pointed a gun at them and demanded their property before 7:30 pm on Monday. The victims gave the suspect their cell phone, purse, wallet and car keys. After the robbery, the accused fled. The victims were not hurt.

On Tuesday, Doug Armstrong, president, hockey operations and general manager of St. Louis Blues, revealed that one of the robbery victims was a potential man who was in town for a rookie camp.

“The St. Louis Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday evening at Ark Grounds that involved one of our organization’s prospects. Our player, who is in St. Louis for our rookie camp, is safe As local officials work to apprehend the suspect. We will have no further comment at this time,” read Armstrong’s statement.

On Thursday morning, St. Louis detectives announced that two suspects in the case, 18-year-old Kania Sloan and 19-year-old Christopher Franklin, had been arrested along with a juvenile. Warrants will be invoked against the two suspects in the first two cases of dacoity and two cases of armed criminal action.
