Calgary police are investigating two shootings that happened less than an hour apart on Wednesday morning.
First, around 2:40 a.m. police began receiving calls about shots fired in the northeast neighborhood of Temple. Police taped a home in the area of Temple Drive, where they said a victim was found with a gunshot wound.
EMS confirms to Global News that one person was taken to a hospital in non-life-threatening condition.

Then, around 3:15 p.m. police were called to the report of a second shooting in the southeast neighborhood of Pennbrook Meadows.
As a result police have a good portion of the 5300 block of 5th Avenue Southeast in possession. Global News confirmed that a man between the ages of 20 and 30 was shot.
The man was taken to Foothills Medical Center in life-threatening condition with a gunshot wound.
Police have not confirmed whether they are investigating the possibility that the two shootings are linked.

As far as the shooting is concerned in the Northeast, due to the blockade of Temple Drive by the police, bus routes have been changed in the area.
City Transit said on Twitter that Routes 38 and 57 are affected and are changing routes.
