Waterloo Regional Police say a 19-year-old man was arrested over the weekend in connection with a stabbing at Kitchener.
According to police, officers were called to a house near Westmount Road and Brybeck Crescent in the Victoria Hills section of the city at around 6 a.m. on Sunday.
Police say officers found a man with a knife wound. The man was taken to a regional hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The officers arrested one person from inside the house.
The 19-year-old is facing multiple charges, including assault with a weapon, threatening to cause death or bodily harm and failure to comply with a release order.
Police say the victim and the suspect know each other.
