Police say three people were found injured in an apartment and were taken to Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay. OPP said one of them was later taken to a trauma center in the Toronto area.
Their conditions were not provided.
The OPP said in a tweet on Sunday afternoon that there was no threat to public safety.
On Sunday night, police said a suspect was “quickly found” and has been charged with two counts of attempt to murder and aggravated assault.
The OPP said the name of the accused was not released to protect the identity of the victims.
The accused has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in Lindsay on Thursday, July 7.
Police say that their investigation is on.
