Vijay Deverakonda’s slippers made talk at trailer launch Liger K in Mumbai on Thursday. Ranveer singh, dressed in his usual style, was so impressed by Vijay’s casual style that he had to wonder out loud whether he was a guest at Vijay’s trailer launch, or was it the other way around. Vijay was seen in a simple t-shirt teamed with cargo pants and slippers and now, his stylist has revealed that Vijay’s shoes cost quite a bit.
Harman told Pinkvilla, “I was constantly nervous because the event was taking place on a large scale, especially in Mumbai, and it was indeed Vijay’s bravery to walk wearing slippers worth Rs 199, but I am glad that it got a lot of love. “
She added, “He specifically asked me for basic chappals and initially I was a bit hesitant but I always trust Vijay’s dressing idea as well because I know he is making it the talk of the country.”
At the trailer launch, Ranveer laughed and said, “Bhai ka style dekho. Aise lag raha hai ki yeh mere trailer launch pe aaye hain ki main inke trailer launch pe aaya hun. (Look at his style. Looks like he has come for my trailer launch, not the other way around.)
Ranveer and Vijay swapped clothes at the event as Ranveer wanted to wear Vijay’s T-shirt. The Gully Boy actor praised Vijay’s T-shirt and said, “Mujhe yeh t-shirt chahiye (I want this t-shirt)”. And when Vijay said that he would send her the shirt, Ranveer suggested, “walk backstage (Let’s go backstage)”. Vijay laughed and said no, but after a while, he was seen in Ranveer’s jacket and Ranveer wearing Liger’s T-shirt.
Liger, also starring Ananya Panday, will hit the theaters on August 25.
