The TRS party in Telangana will reshuffle its leaders on October 25 as it is going to choose its new president later this month. It will both select the new chairman and organize its coveted plenary and foundation day on different platforms and days.
Due to the 2019 elections and the corona epidemic, the plenary meeting could not be held for the last three years. TRS working president and minister KT Rama Rao along with general secretary and MP Keshav Rao and other attendees briefed the media about the programmes.
K T Rama Rao said that the plenary session will be held on October 25 at Hitex, Hyderabad and on November 15 at Warangal on TRS Foundation Day. He encouraged party workers and leaders at all levels to participate in the foundation day, while making a full participation. Elected representative.
He clarified that due to the 2019 elections and the corona pandemic, we did not hold the plenary session on April 17 as a tradition. “As Telangana sees a further drop in cases and vaccination was in full swing, we will conduct full and foundation,” he said.
KT Rama Rao said that the party has completed the process of selection of committees at district, mandal and village level.
The TRS will get its new president on October 25 in the general body meeting. Nominations for the post of president will be held on October 22, scrutiny on October 23 and withdrawal on October 24.
Around 14,000 party leaders of TRS will attend the event. Former MLC Srinivas Reddy is the returning officer, P Krishna Murthy will supervise as former speaker S Madhusudan Chari will be the convener of the resolution committee.
