Thieves damage 4 Range Rovers during attempted theft in Waterloo: Police | globalnews.ca

A handful of Range Rovers were damaged when thieves attempted to break into Waterloo late last month, Waterloo Regional Police said.

Police said a group of five people went to the Range Rover dealership on King Street sometime during the night on December 29, 2022.

“The suspects damaged the rear truck hatch of four vehicles while attempting to access the vehicle’s wiring harness,” a police release said.

Police released pictures of the damage done to two vehicles and the suspect’s vehicle in the incident.

A similar incident happened at a Cambridge home on Tuesday, according to police, with similar damage to a vehicle parked in someone’s driveway.
