Terrorist suspected of targeted assassination killed by Indian forces in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, India: Indian forces in Kashmir on Wednesday gunned down two terrorists, one of them suspected of shooting a bank manager this month, police said, part of a move-in anti-insurgency effort that has killed Muslim-majority forces. The exodus has started from the area.
India has been fighting an Islamic separatist insurgency in Kashmir since the late 1980s. Muslim Pakistan also claims territory over which nuclear-armed neighbors have fought two of their three wars.
