A New York-based technology company has chosen Hamilton for its Canadian headquarters.

Verification Tech, which specializes in identity verification, made the announcement this week at a tech conference in Toronto.

CEO Rahul Siddharth said they offer secure sessions for two different types of products.

Siddharth said the firm also provides services to private companies.
