Seahawks have ‘high-level’ interest in Brown’s baker Mayfield: report

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll spoke highly of the quarterback Drew Locke and Geno Smith During this month’s mandatory minicamp.

But, according to one report, the team still has a “high level of interest” in acquiring Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield.

A league source told CBS Sports on Wednesday that the Seahawks are still gathering information about Mayfield, but there is a lot of interest. Adding Former No. 1 Draft Picks In their roster in the absence of veteran Russell Wilson.

According to the report, Seattle is also open to offering contract extensions.

Mayfield lost the initial job when Brown bought more . traded for Signed Deshan Watson in March for a contract worth $230 million. Mayfield was exempted from the mandatory minicamp this month, and it appears Mayfield has played his last game in Cleveland.
