In a statement issued from the office of Kutch-Gandhidham Superintendent of Police Mayur Patil, three personnel attached to Gandhidham A Division police station – Jagdish Solanki, Haresh Choudhary and Raja Hiragar – have been suspended with immediate effect.

“A viral video was brought to notice by the media and several social media channels in which police personnel can be seen inside a four wheeler, wearing police uniform, dancing to a song… of breaking the traffic law while driving. Such an act does not befit a disciplined department… and defames the police,” the statement said.

“Out of the four policemen seen in the video, three policemen attached to the Gandhidham A Division police station have been suspended with immediate effect, while the fourth, attached to the Banaskantha police, wrote a letter to the superintendent of police recommending disciplinary action against the personnel.
