Notorious gangster Lawrence will appear in Moga court today. Lawrence was remanded by the Moga police in connection with the murderous attack on the brother of Deputy Mayor Ashok Dhamija. On August 1, Moga police got a 10-day remand of Lawrence. Now his remand can be taken in the case registered in Faridkot. There are 2 cases registered against Lawrence here. Lawrence has 17 cases registered across Punjab. In which every case is being interrogated by putting his arrest.

Police had brought Punjab in the Moosewala murder case
Gangster Lawrence was brought to Punjab by the police in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. He was lodged in Tihar Jail. Lawrence had hatched the plot to kill Musewala. Which was executed by his Canada-sitting fellow gangster Goldie Brar. At the behest of Goldie, 6 shooters shot Moosewala. Out of these, 3 Priyavart Fauji, Ankit Sersa and Kashish have been caught. Manpreet Mannu and Jagroop Roopa were gunned down by Punjab Police in Amritsar near Attari border. The sixth sharpshooter Deepak Mundi is still absconding.

Punjab has the highest number of cases against Lawrence
The maximum number of 17 cases were registered against Lawrence in Punjab. In which 6 cases are in Fazilka. Lawrence is a resident of Dutrawali village of Fazilka. In Mohali, 7 cases are registered against Lawrence, 2 in Faridkot, 1 each in Amritsar and Muktsar. In 2010, 3 criminal cases were registered against Lawrence in Chandigarh and Mohali. These cases were of illegal weapons and attempt to murder. Lawrence was acquitted in two cases registered in Chandigarh in April 2010. He was convicted in Mohali in October 2010.
