Gun drawn during argument in downtown Kitchener, police say | globalnews.ca

Waterloo Regional Police say a gun was pulled during an argument between a driver and a pedestrian in the city of Kitchener on Wednesday night.

According to a police release, officers were dispatched to the area around Duke and Cameron Streets at approximately 9:30 p.m. to respond to the incident.

The victim was walking on Duke Street when he exchanged words with the driver of a vehicle traveling in the same direction on a one-way street, the release said.

While they were arguing, police say the driver pulled out a gun and fired it at the pedestrian before driving off.
