SPA – JEDDAH:
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, received His Excellency President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic at the Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah today.
At the start of the reception, His Excellency the Crown Prince welcomed the French President on a state visit, while His Majesty expressed her pleasure to visit the Kingdom and meet His Majesty the Crown Prince. His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – while His Majesty expressed his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – God protect them.
During the reception, aspects of Saudi-French relations and areas of partnership between the two countries were reviewed, besides the possibilities of bilateral cooperation and its development opportunities in line with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
During the reception, the latest developments in the Middle East and efforts to achieve international stability and peace were reviewed, as well as exchanged views on a range of issues and issues of common interest.
