Asia-Pacific stock mixed; China’s latest benchmark lending rate ahead

SINGAPORE – Shares in Asia-Pacific were mixed in early morning trade as investors looked forward to the release of China’s latest benchmark lending rate.

Nikkei 225 Japan gained 0.58% in early trade while the Topix index rose 0.45%. in South Korea, kospi 0.14% also advanced.
