Officials have warned that the leak is affecting local water quality and has increased e coli Level.
Beach closure signs were posted Wednesday, warning that neither people nor pets enter the water at the beach unless water tests meet recreational water quality levels.
Officials say the water level in the ditch where the line was damaged is being lowered so it can either be repaired or replaced.
The province says testing is being conducted at other beaches in the area, but has not yet announced any other closures.
