Minister of State for Home Harsh Shanghvi on Sunday told the members of Rajkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) would be constituted to probe cases of inter-state financial fraud and assured traders and traders Gave. “Responding to the financial frauds reported by the Chamber, the Minister said that an SIT would be constituted to help traders recover money in fraud cases in other states, police would go to different states and those arising out of financial transactions Will help them in resolving any disputes that may arise,” a press release said.
Sanghvi made these statements in a meeting with representatives and members of RCCI and other Rajkot-based organizations at the city’s Circuit House.

Talking to reporters after the meeting, Sanghvi said that RCCI has registered 79 cases of financial fraud. “As per the suggestions given by in Rajkot BJP Leaders, today an SIT has been announced,” he said.
“In the coming weeks, this SIT will investigate complaints and applications, identify the total number of cases and then form teams for different states. These teams will visit various states to investigate these cases.”
Sanghvi said he was confident that the SIT would resolve the disputes. “As soon as these teams visit those states and start investigation, I am sure that the traders who are not answering the phone calls of Rajkot traders will actively call up the Rajkot traders and thus most of the cases. will be resolved,” he said. Sanghvi said that an SIT has already been constituted in Ahmedabad to probe 55 such cases of financial fraud.
He said that the SIT of Rajkot city police would include officers like Joint Commissioner of Police, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Inspector of Police etc.
