If reports are to be believed, the third installment of the hit comedy franchise Welcome is on the way. The first part titled Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal released in 2007, the second part which also starred John Abraham and Shruti Haasan, was unveiled in 2015.
A report by Pinkvilla states that the Welcome 3 is set to launch in the second half of 2022. “The script for Welcome 3 is already being written, and the plan is to go on floors in the latter half of next year. While Anil, Nana and Paresh will be a part of the third film, the makers are targeting a bigger cast for the same. Firoz Nadiadwala is planning to make the film on a large scale and it will be an action-comedy.”
