Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has once again criticized the central government for stopping the sending of work allocation for 100 days. He claimed at a function in Kolkata on Thursday that his government had created one million working days in 100 days, even though the central government did not send the money. He also accused the Center of imposing an economic blockade.
At the same time, Mamta said, the work of ‘100 days’ money’ has been stopped by the central government. UGC money has been withheld at many places. They also do not give the grants that the children used to get before doing PhD. The plan to build houses in Bengal has been put on hold. This money has been taken from here. They give some percentage of it. It’s not like they’re paying.
Mamta complained, ‘Today suddenly I saw that we are being blocked financially due to political reasons. Even so, owning one is still out of reach for the average person. We have created 10 lakh workdays by spending intelligence in 100 days of work. Despite not paying. This is no small task.
The central government has stopped sending money for 100 days of work alleging various irregularities. They will not send money if proper documents are not submitted. Meanwhile, the allocation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has also been put on hold due to the renaming of the central project.
