AFFTON, Mo. – A man sitting in his dining room in Afton on Tuesday morning was pushed across the table and across the room. When he turned, he saw a surprising perpetrator: a car that hit his wall.
John Bloom was sitting at his dining room table at around 8:45 a.m. when the car hit his house, causing his chair to hit the table. When he turned, he saw that the car was partially in his house.
Police said that the accident happened due to a medical emergency. The woman driver was taken to the hospital for treatment, he said.
Police said when officers arrived at her home, Bloom refused treatment.
