With another wave of COVID-19 building up in India, a complete overhaul of our lives has become inevitable again. A lot of activities are being canceled or postponed due to restrictions imposed by the state governments. Looks like it’s time to sit back at home and calm down once again. And Vijay Deverakonda is giving us weekend inspiration to do the same. In his latest Instagram post, the actor is seen chilling with his pet dog Storm.
Vijay, who will soon be seen in the upcoming sports drama Leger, is seen hugging his Siberian Husky dressed in a pink casual T-shirt and shorts in his favorite corner of the room. He captioned the picture, “Obviously this is another wave of storms. Shoot cancel. Chilling back at home. ,
Vijay has got this relief due to the postponement of the shooting of his film Liger in the midst of the third wave of the Kovid-19 epidemic. The production team was all set to wrap up the shoot with some high-octane action sequences. However, now the shooting will be rescheduled at a later date.
This is not the first time that tiger manufacturers have had to stop production due to the pandemic. Back in 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic hit India and a lockdown was announced, the film’s unit had to stop filming.
Liger, which has been in the making for the last two years, marks Vijay’s Bollywood debut. The film stars Vijay opposite Ananya Panday. Liger also marks Vijay’s first pan-India release. Directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar and Jagannath, Liger also stars noted boxer Mike Tyson in an extended cameo appearance. Its first glimpse was released last month. Lager is expected to release in multiple languages on August 25, 2022.
