Matt Fitzpatrick defeated Will Zalatoris and Scotty Schaeffler to win the US Open on Sunday, to finish with 6-under for the tournament.
It was Fitzpatrick’s first major victory of his career on one of the toughest courses at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts. He was at his best at the PGA Championship last month in which he finished fifth.
Zalatoris finished with 5-under.
