Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Thursday met former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who was admitted to AIIMS here after he complained of weakness followed by fever, and inquired about his health.
A doctor at the hospital said, “Singh’s condition is stable.”
In a tweet in Hindi, Mandaviya said that he met former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at AIIMS in New Delhi and inquired about his health.
The Health Minister wished Singh a speedy recovery.
The 89-year-old former prime minister was admitted to a private ward at the Cardioneuro Center of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Wednesday and is under the supervision of a team of cardiologists led by Dr Nitish Naik. said.
Singh had fever on Monday and had recovered, but had become weak and was on fluids.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday wished his predecessor Manmohan Singh a speedy recovery.
“I pray for Dr. Manmohan Singh ji’s good health and speedy recovery,” Modi tweeted. PTI
